While both men and women were likely to report having dieted in the past 12 months, women dieted at a noticeably higher rate.

Dieting is healthy provided the dieter checks with a doctor, combines a healthy food meal plan with physical activities, and starts slowly.
Dieting can be healthy. It can also be unhealthy. It depends on the diet.
Making a lifestyle change and pushing for healthier food and exercise choices is the only way to safely and effectively improve one’s health.
Dieting is a trap and is rather stupid. People need to understand their food choices and target moderate weight-loss over time.
